The Petite Academy is an innovative play and creative arts academy for ages 0-15 years old.
We aim to revolutionise the way in which play and creative arts are used to ensure your children grow up with confidence. We take children to a new level of creativity and show them the awe and wonder of the world.
Our creative journey begins with our baby star classes where we provide nuture and support for both baby and parent in a fun environment. As your children grow our classes can provide for their needs at every age.
We have our own studios in Leyland, where we hold weekly classes. We also deliver our own programs in schools and nurseries. The programs utilise puppets, song, dance, make up skills, action and drama.
Our classes support children’s well being, confidence, communication, physical activity and creativity.

I'm Vicky Dempsey - owner of Petite Academy
I have worked within creative arts for twenty years and seen the power and results of play and creativity in children.
I have four children of my own and understand the stress parents go through to engage children in activities and this is why I created Petite Academy 12 years ago.
I believe that play and the arts have huge therapeutic value for children and this is why I am undertaking a masters in play and creative arts therapy.
We teach over 500 children a week at our studio and in nurseries and schools. Our main focus is on engaging the individual child, building confidence and creative skills.
